From fighting alone to fighting side by side
Sun's entrepreneurial spirit and experience as a cat owner were the driving forces behind the founding of DogcatStar after his graduation from university. The brand has successfully developed several innovative pet products, including Asia's first gum-free pet cans. Through virtual integration, it has managed to become Taiwan's leading pet brand.
Steven, on the other hand, comes from a software engineering and startup background. He recognized the issue of limited universal design food options in Taiwan with Terry, who is a doctor, and was inspired to create Rihshin, a universal food brand that is both delicious and healthy.
Sun and Steven were introduced to each other and found that they shared a talent for creative problem-solving through innovation. During their collaboration, they discovered significant overlaps between their pet and food supply chains, which led them to work together instead of competing as individuals. This gave birth to the Shepherdtech Group.
