From One Brand to a Group

Sun's entrepreneurial instinct and his experience as a cat owner drove him to found DogCatStar in 2013. The brand went on to develop a string of innovative pet products, including Asia's first gum-free pet cans, and through virtual integration it became Taiwan's leading pet brand.

Building DogCatStar taught Sun something bigger. The supply chains behind pet food and human food overlap far more than the industry assumes, and rather than let those capabilities sit inside a single brand, he set out to build a shared platform for them. Shepherdtech Group was born.
